HES ALM in Museum Studies, thoughts?

<p>I’m debating on whether to start the HES ALM Museum Studies program this summer or wait until January to apply to other schools such as GWU, Columbia, John Hopkins.</p>

<p>My reasons for doing it now:</p>

<p>1) Early start.
2) Program seems to be very challenging.
3) Good city.
4) Its Harvard.
5) If I don’t get accepted in January I wasted a whole year.
6) Tuition cost is a lot less than other schools.</p>

<p>My reasons for waiting:

  1. Other programs might be more prestigious.
  2. Other programs require to take more classes.</p>

<p>Another option (that will cost me a ton) is to start the HES program, wait until next January and apply to the other programs, and if I get accepted to one of them, move there and start all over.</p>

<p>Any thoughts? Anyone here taking the HES program right now or attending another school’s Museum Studies program?</p>
