hey,do you guys notice the "SAT Automatically Admitted" on the web?

I just saw 2009 freshmen's profile on the web, which is very surprising.

What does it mean by "automatically admitted"?
Does it mean that if your SAT score's in the range, you have a GREAT possibility to get in?
gosh,.I hope so..

My understanding is that these are the top 10% kid’s scores, not that anyone is automatically accepted with certain scores. Higher SAT/ACT definitely help admission, though.

no, it means that if you are in state and you are in the top 10 percent of the graduating class at your high school, it means you are automatically admitted. That is why the SAT/ACT scores are much lower, because the competition is nonexistent.
