dream career, if money were irrelevant? Probably a stand-up comedian at night, and a cryptographer during the day.

intended major/academic interests? mathematics and some other major, probably physics/comp sci or econ. also i’m thinking about minoring in linguistics ‘cause noam chomsky is a beast.

favorite book? Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire.

nerdiness on a scale of 1-10? 7. I’m pretty nerdy, but this question really depends on the media-driven image of what “nerd” is. Really, I just think you’re a nerd if you find joy in things that take more thinking than rockin’ a stoge.

guilty pleasure? rockin’ stoges.

favorite music genre? everything!

greatest accomplishment? won a game of hide-and-go-seek in the city of berkeley. it took forever. FOREVER.

greatest failure? a failure is a failure if you don’t use the experience to become something better. i think every instance in which i didn’t act with that philosophy in mind is probably one in a set of great failures. do i have a superlative? not really.

how high is MIT ranked on your list? be honest: pretty high, but i’m not sure if i’d be able to pay. right now, i’m ranking schools with affordability as an awfully high standard. i’d love to go if i could afford it, so i’d say top 3.

favorite music genre? Classic =X

greatest accomplishment? Somehow managing to stay alive despite my activeness and forgetting to eat/sleep (heh =D)

greatest failure? Not pursuing the violin more =( Just hobby

how high is MIT ranked on your list? be honest Numba One
