<p>I’m a bit confused over whether I should continue to cut down my commapp main essay word count or not. Currently it is around 950words. I cut it from 1200+…</p>
<p>I read about some threads saying that if every part of the essay really shows some part of you, then it is okay to leave it at around 1000. I am pretty sure some parts of my essay do not show my qualities…but I am writing a recount of an experience and the thinking process. Some descriptions with the surroundings and the feelings should be necessary right? I am just trying to give my essay some feelings/“atmosphere” so that readers can feel the same as I do.I mean, if an essay is only left with things that happened and my feelings, it may look somewhat empty…correct me if I am wrong.</p>
<p>My friends are suggesting me to cut off all the descriptions and I don’t know whether they are really correct…</p>
