my highest score is a 1750 and then i got a 1740 on my last one:( {{which means my score dropped…does that affect the way colleges are going to look at my application?..Is it even going to show? }}
i wanted to apply early for colleges but i have no idea which ones to apply to. They have to be in NYC. & I’m only looking for colleges with good engineerinq programs &/or good study abroad programs.

you can apply to hunter or some other CUNY, they generally have strong science departments.

You can still apply early with the October SAT. Try to re-take the SAT; since most colleges accept score choice, you should be okay.

If you already took the SAT 4x, then taking it again isn’t going to change your score significantly- unless you study in a way that you haven’t before. Most users in this website recommend the Official College Board prep book for studying for the SAT. A lot of colleges also post the middle 50% of their SAT scores online. If your scores are above the 75th percentile, then you have a very good chance at that college (assuming the rest of your application is decent). If you decide to retake, use score choice, like brownman23 said.
