hi everyone!

just thought I would stop in and say hello! i’ve been completely busy the past few months and haven’t had a chance to post!.. but I"m back… I think.

:)

fendergirl~

HEY, GIRL!!! SO happy to “see” you!! You’ve been MISSED! Glad you’re back, sweetie!!!

<3 love, ~berurah

Hi fendergirl!! How’s the job going - How is life after college??

Hello. Are you still working in the motorcycle shop? Playing guitar?

As far as what I’ve been doing…

I broke up with the guy I had been dating for over five years…

and I’ve since started dating someone else (my best friend from college) and I’ve never been happier! :)

I’ve been really preoccupied with that among other things. I see him a zillion times a week and things are absolutely wonderful.

My job is driving me crazy and I’m actually looking for another one… so if anyone is in my area and knows of anything let me know… I’m sick and tired of my customers treating me like crap and there have been recent changes (corporate kinds) around the office that I’m not going to put up with. I don’t have any say in the matter… Well I guess I do, I have the say that I can take myself somewhere else where I will be treated better… which is my goal.

Still playing the guitar and the drums from time to time. My boyfriend plays a lot of different things so it’s so nice just to sit back and watch him play. (and sing to me :))

Not working with the motorcycle place anymore, although I just visited them this past weekend and I got two nice harley-davidson sweatshirts which is great because I don’t have very many long sleeve shirts.

Thanks for the welcomes :)

fender~

Thanks for the update! I can’t imagine that dissolving a five-year relationship was easy for either of you. I dated a guy for over 6 years in college and beyond, and we ended that relationship. It was tough. I’m SO happy, though, to hear that you’re with someone so special to you! Congrats on the wonderful new relationship with your BEST FRIEND from college. Obviously you two know each other well, so if y’all are that crazy about each other, then this is the real thing! :)

I’m sorry that your work life is not as happy as your personal life right now. It sounds to me like a job search would be a positive thing for you. It would be very difficult to stay in a job where you feel you are being treated poorly, and with your youth and the skills you have, you will have many options available to you. I wish you all the best if you do decide to pursue something new in the job dept. I’m sure you will find something that suits your personality and temperament better.

It makes me smile to think of your bf sitting around and playing for and singing to you. NOTHING more romantic than THAT!

Again, I’m glad that you’re back! DO NOT leave again, O.K.?? :)

love, ~berurah

so, fendergirl, are you looking here in the Lehigh Valley area? Olympus now has it’s corporate headquarters in Center Valley. Lutron is in Coopersburg. Wegman’s (the grocery store) has a couple of locations now and it’s always rated really high as a great place to work.

fendergirl, It is good to hear from you again!

yeah I’ve seen lots of jobs at olympus that i’ve been looking into, Lutron too. I don’t know anything about wegmans.

Nice to hear from you again!

Wegmans is a wonderful grocery store chain out of Rochester, NY. I know it’s strange that I wrote about it along with Lutron and Olympus but I figure they probably need business majors at Grocery stores too.

Yep, grocery stores do look for business majors. Both my S’s work parttime at a large grocery store chain in the south. The parent company of the store will contibute $$ toward the tuition costs of students employees who are business majors who will commit to coming back to work for the grocery chain when they finish college. S says his store manager makes about 80K per year.

my other thought right now is harleysville insurance if i want to stay in that industry. I really don’t know.

fendergril.
Good to hear from you. I hope things work out professionally and personally.
