I’m in 252, so we’ll be right down the hall from each other.

Funny willywonka, I can’t seem to do what you did where the names are reversed, when I log in it takes me to the change of preferences page and if I leave that page it logs me out.

Haha, noooo. I found both of you too, but that was, admittedly, very easy. I’m so excited to go, but knowing that 112 people will be there is much more intimidating than I had anticipated. I can always rest a bit more easily knowing that I also have a chance to win a regional scholarship through an interview while there, but we’ll see.

Hey y’all-- I’m in Davis room 301, which is nice because I’d like to live in one of the three freshman dorms that is a little bit smaller, so it’ll be good to see what they’re like. Can’t wait to meet y’all-- especially since there are 112 finalists, it’ll be nice to sort of know a few people while we’re there. Having more than 100 is a little bit unnerving, but I spoke with someone in admissions today and she mentioned that they usually give about 40 full rides and then pretty much everyone else but a small percentage of students gets some kind of money. So maybe they chose 112 because they have enough money to give that many scholarships. LOL, or at least we can attempt to think positive. Take care!

Looks like you’re seperated from us Tegan. But then again, Davis, Graham-Lees and Baker are all together (if I remember properly) and share that neat courtyeard. Willywonka and I are actually right down the hall from each other and Emilia is just four floors up.

ww, I might not be that easy to find if you don’t know that Dima is short for Dmitry, good job

Lol, have to confess Dima that I found you, too, but I knew already that Dima is short for Dmitry. I found WW since you said what his first name was. How’d you figure that out? (LOL, nice detective work)

I’m first on the list of “housing hosts” (the hosts highlighted). Graham-Lees 231! We’ll all have to say what our screennames are when we’re there. “Hi, I’m Chris…err…I mean slipstream”

I find it all amusing. First they e-mailed me begging for me to host a student…then they e-mailed me saying, “er, sorry, never mind–we have too many hosts.” At any rate, I see that quite a few people on the list are going to be up here (Davis 3rd floor)–I look forward to meeting ya! :D

The BDG Quad consists of Baker, Davis and Gilliam; Graham-Lees is right across the street. So don’t be worried about being separated…:)

Our hosts are going to wonder how we all know each other when we live in Florida, Maryland, New York, Illinois, and Texas. we should psych them out and tell them we all went to the same elementary school or something…

LOL, good call-- that is quite the geographical spread. We should come up with a cheesy secret code to recognize eachother. Dima, did you hear from national merit? I found out today that I’m a finalist! Too bad that just means more waiting to find out about awards, though. I’m a really bad wait-er. Happy Singles Awareness Day, everyone! Well, ok, so I’m a little early, but still.

Forget a cult show, we’re all members of Order of the (Some animal name)

We have telepathic connections, wear black and eat mushrooms.

As for how we’ll recognize each other, I think before we leave we should post up what we’re going to be wearing the first day or something. I’ll be there pretty early so I’ll probably get the chance to meet y’all at reg.

Or, when Dima realizes that he’s already enrolled and that he has to see everyone again who he tells about the Order of the Liger, we will need a more natural codeword. The clothes are a good idea, but I dress pretty nondescriptly. Maybe “Have we met before?” would be a safe sign.

Hmm 16 days until we leave. I really need to go buy a duffle (duffel?) bag. Whatever that is!
