I just received my ssat scores and I am not satisfied with the results. However, I have no choice but to send it to the schools i’m applying for since its pretty late. I really don’t know if I can get accepted to the schools I want.

My scores are: Math 710, Verbal 716, Reading 596 and overall 2022 points.

The schools im applying to are: Mercersburg academy, loomis chaffee, cheshire academy, culver academies, valley forge military academy, and peddie school.

Can you tell me if these scores are sufficient enough?
Can my ssat score increase my chances of getting in to these schools given the situation im in?

Also, can you tell me if the choices of schools ive made are wise choices?

I have no clue about it. im still attending boarding school and these r the only things i know about my ssat which my mother told me over the phone. is there anymore information that i can provide ?

The only non wise choice you have made is give us your name and school… Your school administration will be able to read this as will the schools you applied to.

You didn’t get a letter or email from SSAT that included your percentiles? It’s tough to chance you if we don’t know where you fall in terms of percentile. However, I’m guessing from your composite that you fall below the 50th percentile. I don’t know about the Valley Forge military school, but for the others, I’d say your chances are slim just given your SSAT scores.

Of course, we don’t know your ECs which most often are very important in schools’ decisions. Whether that could place you into an average applicant range, however, I don’t know.
