<p>I was involved in CC some years ago when my daughter was applying to college. I then (sometimes) got involved in political threads, but am happy that CC decided to drop those, as they could get somewhat contentious.</p>
<p>Now my son is a junior and starting on his college search. As I’ll likely to be posting again, I just wanted to take a few moments to say hi.</p>

<p>D just graduated college this year and S is a sophomore in college. Wish I had “found” CC when my D was in the college search and selection process but it turned out well. </p>

<p>Welcome back. Join us on the Parents of the HS Class of 2014 thread. I joined CC the August of senior year for my D (wish I’d joined much earlier). She’s now a college sophomore, but I also have a son who’s a HS junior.</p>
