Hiatus!!

hey guys- just saying bye for a bit :frowning: :frowning: tear I shut off the internet in my room so I can actually get some work done - yeah right. I’ll find other ways to procrastinate of course!!! Shoot the bell just rang- gotta get to class.

so the point of this post is to say I won’t be on here as much for a few weeks- but I’ll manage to sneak on sometimes- can’t go too long without CC!!!

Miss you already

*wow i’m addicted :)

Bye Michelle! We won’t miss you at all…

OF COURSE we will :p

I’m sure we all wish we were as strong as you!

How can you go so long without internet?? I’d die!!

Enjoy your break. I wish I had the same determination.

good luck. I couldn’t live without the Internet. you know, that’s pretty sad. :frowning: oh well. it’s true. maybe I should go on a hiatus also. I need to start other college essays… and do projects… ahhhh

haha thanks guys. Just taking a quick break from my work on the kitchen computer!

Wanna hear something horrible? My dad is going to a christmas party for his firm on December 16th… at YALE!!! The torture and irony of it all :frowning:

Maybe its a good sign!!! The glass is half full!!!

Hopefully we’ll find out the 15th - the wait is killing me

I hope it’s good too… but I highly doubt it. You are right though- the glass is not empty yet!

Is it possible to find out by mail earlier than the 15th?

No, ritzbitz. Our earliest chance is online, hopefully on the 15th.

I think that’s a good sign. While my friend and I were working on a project (we were going to a hardware store), we saw Yale Street. And then we saw something else Yale-related (I forgot what else we saw). But we saw the two within 2 minutes, so I thought that was a good luck thing!

The same type of thing happened to me last week. I turned on VH1 and as soon as I did, they started talking about Yale and how they had a Rubix cube class in the 80’s. I thought “Hey maybe it’s a sign,” but then I changed to the History channel right after that, and the first thing I hear is about New Haven Connecticut and Yale University. Talk about a coincidence!

Whooooaa that’s crazy  Sounds like a good omen to me…

The other day I was driving around with my mom, and we passed a neighborhood where all of the streets were named after Ivy League universities, and I insisted that we drive up and down Yale Street. Up and down and up and down and up and down…

Yeah! It always seems that I find YALE stuff on important Yale days (like the day I mailed in my app, i got 2 letters from Yale and saw a woman wearing a Yale sweatshirt, which I’ve never seen someone from around here do), and for my interview, i found that one BC comic strip.

I think these signs mean we’re all going to get in!..i think…i hope

I wish I actually believed in signs and all that… then maybe I’d feel better about getting the “sign” that I did. I’M IN!! WOOHOOO!! or not :(

have confidence, pre1321 :)

Thanks chidimma, its just so hard though. I’d rather not set myself up for major disappointment… oh wait, I’ll be crushed no matter what… lol.
