I got a 800 on US, 690 on Chem, and a sad 540 on Math 2. My high school puts SAT scores into transcript so will it be pointless to not send Math 2? I don’t think retaking would make much of a difference too.

Also I’m hoping to be an engineer, but I don’t want to hurt my chances so should I instead apply to a science major or undeclared?

Science requires mathematics. The two subjects are intertwined. You should focus on the Humanities b/c it seems like you WAY STRONGER in those subjects.

I don’t think I’m particularly bad at math since I will be taking Calc BC next year, but I didn’t feel prepared for any of the questions.

Were you unprepared for Chem too?

Can’t you request SAT scores to be taken off your transcript? I’m pretty sure schools aren’t allowed to report them on your transcript if you don’t them want to.

Why, if you said that the reason you didn’t score as high as you wanted to is because you didn’t feel prepared for any of the questions? (Wouldn’t you be better-prepared next time?)

Well I take that back preparing would increase my score. How much would they take into consideration my first score if my second score was above 700?

Yes and no. I took AP chem but I never took regular chemistry so I never really got into depth on the basics.
