If I were to get a 3.7-3.8 GPA, while satisfying all major requirements for a double major in computer science & economics, but did not average above the median gpa (as is now posted on transcripts) would this count negatively in top graduate school applications? I currently go to a T20 school (ivy league) and would be applying to the top few MBA programs, including those with deferred enrollment. This would be assuming a proper combination of high GRE score and strong ECs.
In other words, would a median but high GPA be value-added, neutral, or subtracted for top MBA programs, specifically those with deferred enrollment?
