High Point University-Psychology Major

<p>I am a Mom of S very interested in attending High Point University as a Psychology major. Is anyone familiar with this program at HPU? I heard about the Business School, Communications and Education Schools but very little about Psychology. Would you recommend this as a major at HPU or should my S seek other Universities to study this major?</p>

<p>Don’t know what your Sons stats are but you should take a very hard look before choosing HP just because your Son liked it. </p>

<p>You should be able to find lots of info by searching “High Point University” here on CC.</p>

<p>ncmentor - Not sure what you meant by your comment. We know 2 kids at High Point this year. Both were excellent high school \students with a variety of choices and both are extremely happy.</p>

<p>I assume you mean that there are better schools, but that’s kind of obvious.</p>

<p>Why the hate for HPU? We have visited schools we did not care for but I don’t see the need to make disparaging comments. Obviously, no school pleases everyone.</p>

<p>No hate here. I just meant that you can say “there are better schools” about nearly any school, but that’s not a reason to shy away from it.</p>
