You have to pay for it and get usage permission from Stanford.

[Posters - Visual Art Services](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/VAS/posters/index.html)

This [one](http://www.stanford.edu/~aozyavas/stanford_logo[1].gif) is decent I think. It’s also really big. And I don’t think you need to get usage permission if it is being used for nonprofit or something like that. I’d look into it before you start making t-shirts.

Thanks a bundle, haha

Don’t worry, I’m not making illegal t-shirts. Doing a mural got my sister’s loft and she wants a tree on the side. I wanted a model and figured that the Stanford one would go well. :)

Aww. That’s nice of you.

Personal use of the image would be OK, such as painting a mural. Commercial use such as T-shirts would need permission, whether nonprofit or not.
