High school attendance?

So I’ve already been accepted to UMich and paid my deposit, registered for orientation, etc. I know that you have to send a final high school transcript at the end of the year, and I noticed my second semester attendance wasn’t very good. I missed a lot of school, but all of the absences are excused by a parent, and all my grades are really high. Can my attendance affect my admissions decision in any way?

No. If your grades are good you’re fine.

Thanks. Good to know.

I had the same question. Ever since admissions came out, I’ve been skipping a lot of school. It is so easy to turn that alarm clock off. My grades aren’t any lower though. What a testament to our quality educations.

Fermat25

I hope your class attendance behavior doesn’t accompany to Michigan especially when you have an 8:00AM class next winter. You might find yourself back home looking for a new school

^ Easy solution. Don’t take 8am classes.

(seriously. worst decision of my life)

PeterW, I’m actually going to UVA, but I’ve had solid attendance my entire HS career until now. Who isn’t somewhat lazy during their final semester of high school?

pretty sure I had missed 70+ class periods 2nd semester senior year (all excused) and no one said anything, should be fine.
