High School Class of 2013

In my sophomore year, we did it right after winter holiday break. Then it’s freshmen, and juniors does it about March-April.

My schedule is going to be so full I might not even have lunch.

AP Bio
AP Calc
AP Comp Gov
AP Lit
Journalism
Advisory
Gym
Japanese 4

It sucks that my school decided to offer all these APs senior year so I couldn’t spread them out. This schedule is definitely not going to work either, I’m going to have to drop something.

^^ Do you have to take Journalism? It’s cool if you like it, but your year is gonna suck. Next year I’m gonna take like 4/5 APs but I’ll have a lot of frees too, so it’ll be manageable.

Journalism is like my top priority :stuck_out_tongue: EIC widdit.

eweklgmeklwdkjfdrjemzclksm It’s so weird to think that in less than three semesters we’ll be out of high school! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m extremely excited. I live in a very small, narrow-minded town, and I can’t wait to get out into the world and experience everything it has for me to offer!
My schedule for next year currently looks like this:

Honors Advanced Information Technology before school
AP English Lit
AP Statistics
AP Environmental Science
Honors Spanish 4 with UCONN credit
half year of World Religions (basically everything from religion based stuff to the study of ghosts)
half year of International Relations
College Prep Physics
Communications 3
P.E.

I hope it all fits. If not, World Religions will be the first to go. I want to major in political science and (if the college offers it) journalism/communications (because it really isn’t that difficult to do from what I’ve seen).

Alright so let me summ up what I’m planning on doing.

I think I’ll register for the March SAT, I know it’s really late, but I still haven’t taken it at all, and I need to soon. I have until Friday to do something, hahahah.
Also, I feel like I might do US History through a community college this summer. I took APUSH and made a 99, but I don’t think I know enough to pass the AP exam, so I feel like doing it this summer through a CC is a pretty good alternative.

As for my schedule next year, this is it tentatively:
AP Calc AB
AP Calc BC
AP English
AP Euro
AP Gov
Honors Yearbook
Honors Art 3 (Honors Strategic Marketing? Science? AP?)

I found out this week I’ll be Co-Editor of the Yearbook next year which is nice cause it’s a really fun class, and I honestly wasn’t expecting to get anything out of it, hahaha.

Yea, uh, I’m only taking the ACT and I’m taking it in June. That’ll be my first college test (aside from the Jap SAT 2 which I bombed and have to retake).

I’m like totally obsessed with Madonna’s new song and MIA’s new song.

Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well.

Honors Yearbook? Honors Art?!?

Why can’t my school have weighted electives… hmph

@dfree124:
Hahah, we have a ton of weighted electives. AP Seminar used to be Honors until this year.

I’m jealous

After this yr I think I’m none with APs the only one I’m considering is Stats and now they changed physics honors to AP that sucks now its CP or AP and I don’t want to take 2 APs again

@}~’~-

I’m taking the ACT in April; again in June if I need it… And taking 3 Subject tests in May… Unsure of which ones yet though. XD Either Chem, Bio, Math Level 1 or Math Level 2. Then if I need to retake any more I have June. I may actually sign up for two in June too… (Physics and the one I don’t take in May)

I don’t want to take the SAT, but I’m not sure whether to sign up for it in March… I seriously doubt I can make it past a 600 in the CR, so I probably shouldn’t.

I have a question. Why do ya’ll take so many dang AP classes???

This year I could only take APUSH because all the APs are offered to seniors.

so you dont go to college and look like a fool. ap courses are the same as college courses, helps you prepare

its like taking the act w/o preparing/practicing. you will look like a fool once you get your test score

@Descuff - cause it looks good for college, gets the GPA up, and, while I don’t want to sound “high and mighty”, if I took all standard classes I’d probably be a bit bored during school.

Also if you get a 3 or higher on the AP exam you could skip a semester in college and save $

@}~’~-

@jonnathan lol what is honors yearbook?

AP exam so if I take 3 AP exam and pass it I could skip 3 semesters??? That don’t sound right to me.
