<p>I got my learners permit at age 14. I’ve driven a little bit, but I need to get serious now, as I have to test for my license in about three months (that’s when my 16th birthday is).</p>
<p>I have to take driver’s ed online before I can take a permit test at 15 1/2. I have to keep my permit for 6 months, and in the meantime do 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a professional driver and practice with a parent for 50 hours, 10 of which have to be at night. Only then can I take my driving test and get my license. <em>sigh</em> DMV woes…</p>
<p>Im so glad to see that im not the only sophomore with an account on here. I want to be prepared. But im in a math and science academy which is really hard to get into ans the classes are difficult. Ill be takinf precalc, magnet molecular bio, spanish 3, wind ensemble, magnet honors english 10, ap human geography, and pe! So ready to get my liscense:) turned 15 a month ago. Whoop whoop</p>

<p>I love shopping for school supplies. After the shopping is done, my sister and I will spend hours just organizing what we bought. I also love back-to-school clothes shopping.
I have 23 days including today until school starts. My school has made some changes regarding ranks and advisory. Such an annoying way to start off sophomore year.</p>
<p>O yes! School starts the 27th for me and it was tax free weekend here in NC. So I basically bought a whole new wordrobe and school supplies for the next 3 years. My parents love getting back to scool stuff for me; they think it helps me get straight A’s :/</p>

<p>Yes how was your first day back! Im getting more and more nervous about it all.</p>
<p>I’m excited! But I’m nervous because the two APs I’m taking aren’t usually available to sophomores, so the people in them will probably be like wondering why I’m in there…</p>
<p>I feel the same way about some of my classes sshsdancer. t’s always kinda awkward. Especially when you don’t know any of them…</p>
<p>I know! I’ll be fine if I know at least a few people, but I have yet to see anyone with my classes on their schedule.</p>
<p>Im in the same boat, the courses I’m planning to take wont have any sophomores in them (AP Calc and AP Physics) and I just got into student council which is all upperclassmen and a 5-10 sophomores I dont even know. But it doesnt bother me, most people think I’m a junior or senior anyways because of the classes I’m taking.</p>
<p>Last year, most people that weren’t from my middle school thought I was a sophomore for some odd reason, but it’s still bothering me, haha.</p>

<p>I’m having a lot of scheduling issues. My math teacher thinks it’s “uncommon” and a terrible idea for me to skip precalc and take BC Calc as a sophomore. But still, I can pass the honors precalc final and go into calc. But now I’m really worried b/c I don’t want to fail it and be stuck in precalc. And also if I don’t get into calc, I won’t get into AP Bio either…Woe is me :(</p>
