High School Class of 2015

^ Same here. I don’t think I did too well. I do believe that I aced the math section. It was a joke this year.

All this PSAT talk makes me want to be a good child and go study for the SAT.

Except wandering around on forums is so much more interesting.

Is this really a moral dilemma about utilitarianism? ._.

^Haha maybe, but I definitely have to agree that looking around the forums really is a much more interesting thing to do.

I was the only person to get back my PSAT results because I begged my counselor to tell me my scores xD

Yep I start Monday. Yay…

What colleges are you guys looking at so far? (I know this was just asked a couple months ago, but we’ve got a lot of new posters on here. I already remember–goodnoodle wants to stay in California or East Coast [I think you said Yale maybe???] and I think kypdurron said something about TAMU, correct?)

Why Yes, CE527M:
Lets Go Over my List:
Texas A&M: Economics and Applied Math or BHP and Finance (possible Computer Science)
Ave Maria University: Mangerial Economics and Theology
University of Dallas Finance/Economics and Computer Science
Notre Dame: Information Technology and Finance
Benedictine College: Computer Science and Theology
Baylor University: Economics and Computer Science
University of Alabama: Quantative Economics/ Investmant Finance/ Computer Science
Tulane University: Finance and Math
University of Oklahoma: Economics and Finance
Miami University of Ohio: Finance and Math

So far my favorite school on earth is georgetown. List also includes Yale, brown, Boston college, and many California schools I won’t bother to list.

But yep unless I get into somewhere really great outside of California, I’m staying here.

^Oh darn, my memory failed me. I completely forgot about Georgetown, I remember how you said over Thanksgiving (?) break how you fell in love with it.

I’ve also been looking into Georgetown recently! :)

As a catholic, i am appalled at Georgetown, and have no intention of going there

Well I’m not a Catholic, so…

@kyp why are you appalled, isn’t gtown catholic affiliated?

We (most catholics) call the school a CINO:
Catholic in Name Only

Google it, goodnoodle.

@CE527M
My top schools are kind of expected. Lol. They’re…
Harvard (I want to have dual enrollment with New England Conservatory.)
Yale
Princeton
Dartmouth
Vanderbilt

Mine would have to be

Princeton (ORFE/Economics)
University of Chicago
MIT (Sloane/Economics) I was born in Cambridge, as my parents went to Harvard
University of Pennsylvania (Wharton)
Cornell (Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management/ORIE)
Columbia (financial engineering/economics)
University of Texas at Austin Business Honors Program (McCombs) cuz I’m in Texas

My top schools are pretty random. I want to study some combination of acting, music, and economics/finance. I might pursue my interest in languages, media/communications, or law…as you can see I’m very decisive!

Northwestern University (Illinois)
Carnegie Mellon University
UCLA
USC
Columbia University
University of Chicago
Yale University

@kyp I guess I consider that a good fit. I have a Muslim mother and a non religious Christian/catholic father. I don’t believe in Islam so I guess georgetown is a good place for me to learn more about Catholicism/Christianity in a secular environment.

My parents want me to go to Brown, but I’d much rather end up in Yale or Carnegie Mellon or Princeton.

Then there’s the obligatory schools Stanford and UW and safeties WashU and Reed.

Hahaha if I don’t get into UCLA my parents won’t let me go anywhere but a community college. :(

Stanford
Caltech
Harvard

In that order…Undergrad, Grad, Postgrad, hopefully. :P

I love Cornell because they have a lab of ornithology and I’m really into birds.
I would also be happy to go to:
Any Ivy League
Binghamton
Oswego
RPI
Rutgers
Georgetown
Johns Hopkins
Ohio State
UGA
