I could seriously see you as some sort of president or something like that^

@HobbitTon same as CE…

@CE: There’s this other Asian girl at my school that I hate with a burning, fiery passion. In fact, I would say that at least 99.999999999% of the school hates her. At least. And somehow she just manages to weasel in to three of my classes (three too many, IMO :mad:) this year. (In middle school it was worse, though; we had nearly every class together! shudder Except…she was also a nicer person in middle school…)
Anyway, suffice it to say that if this girl ever beat me in anything academically-related, I would probably have a mental/nervous breakdown. So I’m secretly striving to do my best, not only for the sake of it but also to beat her. So yeah, about the public speaking thing, if she’s there then I will definitely speak up more. We often bash heads (not literally lol, though I would almost positively beat her if we ever did :p) in arguments-particularly in history-and take opposing sides. I’ve tried being friendly with/to her. Freshman year, okay, it kinda worked. This year? Not so much. Especially after her personality actually worsened to a point even more abominable than before, which is hard to believe could actually happen, but still.

Okay, I am really sorry. We had another one of those debates earlier today, and I’m still really POed at that. Excuse my horrendously long rant.

Hey guys. Do you mind if i join in?

@rayvan yes.

Public speaking here is specifically non-confrontational, in opposition to debating. So I’m supposed to be questioning them in a friendly manner to get the most out of them as possible, but not trying to undermine their speech. So I don’t think your suggestions will work…

So UK, mix a powder of shredded sleeping pills into her drink at lunch. Or sneak some laxtives in one food and stoppers in another. You will win

There will be 3 other teams of three there, it’s not a one on one competition. I guess I better start stocking up on sleeping pills and laxatives then.

@Eleven Ranger I can definitely relate to that.
I have a colleague who managed to drive everyone in my class nuts.

@rayvan: hi and welcome!! Sorry you had to see me really POed as your first impression. :o I’m feeling a lot better now.
Haha yup, that sounds exactly like that girl in three of my classes. And unfortunately, because we’re Asian, we do quite a few of the same ECs… :(

There’s one girl like that at my school, and to make things worse she is a proper genius. She’s been moved up a year, which is rare here, and she always beats me at maths and normally science. Luckily that’s all I have with her or I’d go insane.
I don’t even know her that well, but there’s this weird, intense competition that neither of us will admit to. It’s possible it’s all in my head.

@UKgirl: Whoops, sorry. :o Then I dunno…this probably sounds obvious but use the 5 W’s and H a lot? HobbitTon would probably give you like 100% more useful tips, sorry. :p

^What’s that?

I’m cool with that plan though, I might even be giving another team a lift there, so perfect opportunities.

@ElvenRanger That’s fortunate. I take all my classes together with that guy. And we always compete at every subject. Fortunately I come on top. >:)

I just want to reccomend this show to anyone who has access to the BBC or has no qualms about watching it illegally: [BBC One - Privates](BBC One - Privates) It’s called Privates and is set in the 1960s around a group of men starting their national service. And it has Alex Vlahos in it, which was my real reason for watching it, but it’s still a good show: [Google Image Result for http://i.imgur.com/DswzA.jpg](http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&tbo=d&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-Address&biw=1366&bih=620&tbm=isch&tbnid=SF0RpX32Oucf6M:&imgrefurl=http://www.fmforums.co.uk/forums/index.php%3Fs%3D7fcf4539e859996292a3dda775932765%26showtopic%3D154676%26mode%3Dthreaded%26pid%3D2011987&docid=hIYP1fbvOMJEfM&itg=1&imgurl=http://i.imgur.com/DswzA.jpg&w=1023&h=570&ei=cpfxUPz8L-Gr0AW7zICoAQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=624&vpy=162&dur=428&hovh=167&hovw=301&tx=160&ty=73&sig=104688302007838628308&page=4&tbnh=125&tbnw=215&start=73&ndsp=26&ved=1t:429,r:76,s:0,i:342) (the one at the front on the left)

@UKGirl i’ve heard about that show somewhere. I think I’ll watch it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Oooh I just noticed your location, that’s pretty cool. Are you Romanian or just live there for now?

I am a native Romanian (from Transylvania). And luckily, I will be staying in this country just 2 more years. :d

^^(not rayvan)Right.

Normally saturday nights are so quiet on CC, it’s nice to not be so bored. I’m rewatching Privates again, but I get bored just watchign stuff on my laptop so I’m always doing something else like CC
The exception is anime, as I have to read the subtitles. It’s probably good for me.

You going the US for college too?

@Collgate: maybe you shouldn’t be in this thread since none of us are freshmen, and none of us are searching for senior retirement homes.

@rayvan: haha same.
I’m pretty happy with myself right now, actually. ;)

@UKgirl: Who What When Where Why How. :)

I guess when the class of 2015 will enter their freshman year of high school. So let me be the first to congratulate you all on making it this far. However, your toughest test has yet to come and that is where I come in. I feel that it is my duty as a veteran of the high school game to inform the up in coming rookies on what is to come.
That,s What i think about the topic, what you think, give your ideas and opinions.

Dang you suck at trolling and spamming

@rayvan: Sorry I was referring to your post from before about beating the annoying person in our classes.
I am not Romanian (that’s so cool that you are!!)
