@goodnoodle. Good job. Love is crazy i know. I done some dumb things for just a mere infatuation. Proud of you.

@goodnoodle you train outside?!? I do a bit of open water swimming in the summer, but my actual swim practices are inside year round.

@goodnoodle…um no, the swim team practices inside at the local pool, which is around 60 degrees, not 30. All of their meets are also at inside pools.

@ukgirl and cem yeah, our pool is outside. Every school we’re facing this season also has an outdoor pool.

But uhm the meet was not spectacular. I completely messed up my 50 freestyle. When I dove in the water started burning my eyes so bad (didnt wear goggles), which caused me to inhale and swallow water. The other swimmers were already at the 25 before I had the air to start moving again. The other race I was in (200 free), I lost but it was by a reasonable amount and understandable because everyone has had at least a month of practice (and most of them had more, being returners), since schools start training at the begininning of february, which I have not had since I was in the play. Not to mention it was cold today and I didn’t bring a jacket, so I was standing without a shirt in the wind. It’s all good though, only getting better from here

^So this is what California is like…outdoor pools everywhere.

You should wear googles, just saying.

I never use “googles”

Um…wow did I really write that.

*goggles.

Yes you did. Edit time

I’ll keep it on there for proof that I’m going crazy from all this history homework I have to do.

SNOW DAY!!!

@CE, Thanks for talking about AP world. I’ll remember the textbook you’re using. I’ve heard the exam is very hard. One of my genius friends got a 4. :eek:

For APUSH, everyone recommended AMSCO. I bought it used. I’ll have to tell you after the exam how helpful that book is. The book is fun to read, for one thing. The textbook we’re using is The American Pageant: A History of the Republic. The textbook is okay. AMSCO is better.

It’s suddenly got warm here, weird to think it’s still snowing in some places!

I feel so weird, lurking on CC for one and a half years, and then finding this thread…

@Karnier
We’re taking some of the same classes next year:

AP English 3
AP Chemistry
AP Environmental Science
AP US History
H Spanish 4
H Precalculus
H HBS

Lucky, your Spanish is honors…

@goodnoodle
that sucks

3 days for M9 I cant wait anymore for the TSAO desicions! :)

@shmluza…Lucky! What area do you live in? Last week they said our area was supposed to get up to 9 inches, then they changed it to 5, but we only got a dusting. Every other school near us closed, but we didn’t.

Thanks for the tip about APUSH, sounds like a good book, should be helpful.

It seems weird weather is all around. Where I live, it rained, snowed, shined, AND hailed in the SAME day!!

^Dude, that sounds so much like Colorado. We get the four seasons every day over here, lol. :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m back…temporarily. Things will pick up again after this week, but for now we have state standardized testing (yippee), so no homework! (theoretically…our history teacher failed to realize that)

booored

(BLEEPING 10CHAR)

You know if you put a really long space and then a period you don’t have to do the 10char, right?

I Forgot .
