High School Class of 2015

This question is kind of random, but do you think that Key Club or French Club is worth it? Would they improve my college admission chances? I plan on doing Math League, Debate, Scholar’s Bowl, field hockey, and some Olympiads.

I think french club is worth it, though at my school our french teacher gives extra credit if you join. what position do you play in field hockey?

How come you guys already know the clubs in your HS? I have not a single clue! :frowning: Did your school give orientations or something?

Thanks! I usually play forward, right wing. And shmluza, I’m sure that you’ll be able to find a list of the clubs at your HS if you do a bit a research; odds are that there’s a list on the school website or guidance will hand one out.

Thank you happysmileyface. I will check my school’s webpage.

Hey I checked! I see a club called “ECO”. does anyone know what it is?
Also Mocktrial seems interesting except I have no clue what it is. lol
I also want to do newspaper and website. but they may be open for juniors and seniors only. Is that the case in your schools?

And I’ll do band - concert band and marching band. Then maybe tennis. I am still doing figure skating on my own. and I play the piano.

Is it too much? How many clubs do you guys do, in addition to your hobbies/ECs?

Yeah, the clubs were listed on my school’s website. Or you could call administration and ask, but the website is your best bet.

“How come you guys already know the clubs in your HS? I have not a single clue! Did your school give orientations or something?”

I know the clubs of my school because my school is 7th-12th grade so I’ve been going there for 2 years

Eco club is probably an environmental awareness club.
Mock trial is where you stimulate trials as an attorney or witness.
Also, your school might have an activity fair where you go around the room learning about different clubs and talking to the advisers as well as students who are currently in the club. It would probably give you a good idea in the clubs you’d be interested in so you should find out whether or not your school has a such thing.

I am definitley doing Model UN

On the topic of “freshman” vs. “freshmen” on our class shirts (that the at least half the grade bought), they mixed up the two :P. Our class president was in my English class and my English teacher made fun of her all period for that.

Zut! I was hoping “ECO” is something related to economics.

Mock Trial sounds fun!
My school’s website doesn’t list model UN. :(

We got Model UN :)

We have Model UN as well except ours is called World Affairs Council, check for something like that maybe?

Stanford: what county do you live in? I live in Middlesex.
And my Model UN is called International Studies.

I live in Burlington county, near Philly.

whats the best club in your school?

peer mediation

Worst?

cheerleading

Best: Academic Team
Worst: A2J: The dude is so biased in favor of Christianity.
