Money issues, that’s why. And yes, the parties are killer lol

okay, thanks. I should probably start writing down the schools who I’ve gotten those fee waiver letters from…probably have gotten some from schools I’m actually considering

Are those schools worth applying to?

Fee waiver schools I mean

I think it depends on what you want from the school. I’m doing Tulane because even though I don’t love it, I don’t have reservations about it either. I’d be happy going to any college really. Also, Tulane is a fairly respectable school and they offer my major. I also feel like it would be easier to double major there

Where do you guys find this fee waiver schools? I have no idea where to start.

@Hawkace Some will just email you them. The email will usually go like:

“You have shown succes in high school and so I am pleased to inform you that you have qualified for Priority Status etc. Among the perks of this include no application fee, priority for scholarships and honors college, no essay, and streamlined application. Apply today and I look forward to reviewing your application.”

I know that we all have mountains of college emails and some are starting to seem like trash. But it so easy to loose the free application email in those other ones. You have to open them all.

Also, I THINK for the Johns Hopkins Fly in program, you get a fee waiver if you are accepted. It really depends on the institution

Also this site has colleges that have no application fee in general. But…eh. Not my taste:

<a href=“Colleges With No Application Fees | CollegeXpress”>http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/lists/list/colleges-with-no-application-fee/1681/

After reviewing my different life plans I now realize that I probably should not have ignored all those e-mails about priority applications. Now I’m going to have to dig into my monster of a folder on Gmail.

I only got emails from random colleges I’ve only heard of because of emails they constantly send me.

@Tesian Trust me you won’t be alone I just open all of mine because none of my parents went to college, so each email or letter I get makes me feel ‘special’. It makes the chase even more real and gets me excited. That’s why I’ve looked at all of mine.

same @CE527M. Like University of the Incarnate world. Had never heard of it before, and I never would have guessed that it is in Texas

Looking for the NMSF cut-off scores in DC & MD, on behalf of posters on another CC thread. Can any students here help with that? Thanks.

Sorry, I’m from Texas @GoAskDad

@An1100345, some of the schools that have sent me those fee waiver notices are definitely worth applying to. Those include U of Rochester, U of Vermont, Syracuse, and then there are some others that I won’t be applying to like Albright and Washington College. Just check your email and mailbox to see what colleges are contacting you. @emenya said its different for everyone…

BOT 4 lyfe.

So those new rankings…

Meaningless ^

Duke = most overrated school in the USA.

@cornellor the fact that you’re trying to get me banned for my opinion is far more asinine. You have only ten posts on this site, and about half of them are you criticizing me and calling me a ■■■■■, LITERALLY ignoring the fact that I said that I have no aspirations of applying to Duke.

I visited duke and didn’t like it at all. It may be home to the most pretentious students and faculty of any school in the country… but yeah, you need to lay off @cornellor
