Listen to Kpop…

Watch one of my favorite shows. House of Cards season 2 in two days!

SAT Math II scores coming out tomorrow… I’m really nervous :/

@observeraffect - Eat. Sleep. Go on the internet. Sometimes I read and write. But that’s pretty much it.

@TeamRocketGrunt - Good luck :D

I hope I have a snow day tomorrow…not ready for my history quiz and chem test. D: Local news says that my area is going to get bombarded with 6-8 inches of snow, but weather.com says there’s only going to be 1-2 inches…

@catchinginfinity my area is supposed to get 8-14 inches of snow X_X . It hasn’t even started snowing yet and there’s already no school tomorrow. I’m going to catch up on sleep ; and study for SAT and Bio.

Sometimes I wished it snowed in socal…

^You’re fortunate enough to live in socal while the majority of us are stuck on the east coast, why would you even want snow? :P

I love LA but I want to experience waking up on a thursday and finding out school is canceled and sleeping in.

I just got an 800 on SAT II Math 2C! :D

Me too, @TeamRocketGrunt. Congratulations! <:-P

Glad I have this out of my way.

Good job, @loltired! Now for chemistry, and I’m all done with my planned SAT IIs.

Congrats @TeamRocketGrunt and @loltired! Ahh I hope I’ll be able to pull of an 800 next year…what review book did you guys use?

-

Thank goodness for snow days. Is anyone taking the chem SAT II this year?

@catchinginfinity I just used Barron’s! To be honest though, I was kind of freaking out because I attempted a college board practice test the day before the real one and I was kind of struggling with the first half so I just gave up.

I plan on taking the chem SAT II next year after AP chem or maybe the physics SAT II if I decide to take AP Physics.

Lol @observeraffect

I commented on this thread like over a year ago, and it’s getting a little scarier each month. Anyways, @texanhowler, drop an AP that you don’t really like/care about/isn’t related to your major (if you have an idea of what it’ll be). And if you’re still unsure, you could always self study the one that you drop, but that’ll be a little crazy with your other AP’s and assuming that you have EC’s to back up your academic strength.

My school doesn’t have nearly as many AP class options as yours (or a lot of people’s here for that matter). University of Washington though is holding a AP Science study at my school, why they chose our po-dunk school on the other side of the country is unknown, so sophomores and juniors who qualified and want to take AP Chem or Bio II get a chance to take one of those classes next year. Problem is, there’s only a limited amount of space (one class for each subject) and a good amount of students, so I don’t know my chances of getting to take the class next year. Most likely, since in my school we don’t take Bio I until junior year, I’d take AP Chem. I don’t know what I’m gonna do if I don’t get to take it (my other AP class is APUSH).

It only snowed about 2 to 4 inches this morning, now it’s like rainy. But we missed school anyways XD

@TeamRocketGrunt I’m thinking about taking the Chem SAT II test. What book or books are you using to prepare?

@TeamRocketGrunt - Did you use the official SAT Math Subject test book to prepare?

@loltired I’m planning on taking the physics SAT Subject Test next year. I think that I’ll need to take the both AP Physics 1 and 2 since the topics on the subject test seem to be in both 1 and 2.

YAYAYAY to @loltired and @TeamRocketGrunt for your beautiful scores on the SAT 2. You guys are seriously amazing!

With SAT scores coming in for so many of my junior friends, it’s making me nervous about my own impending doon… =P Plus, I need to choose my junior year schedule this week as well, which is just nerve-wracking.

@Almondjoy7 Same! I don’t know what to do with my schedule. I’m prob going to be taking 4 AP’s (AP Chem, AP Calc BC, AP Lang and Comp, AP Spanish Lang and Comp) next year but that means I’d have to do summer school for US History (not AP) and not take a debate class, which I really want to do. I don’t know what to do exactly.
What’s your dilemma?

My friend just texted me her planned junior year schedule and she’s taking 7 APs… and no science? I didn’t even know our school offered all these random APs lol

@gbrl10 If I were to take AP Physics next year, I’m pretty sure it would be maybe an intro physics class or physics I and then physics C. Not really sure how it works at my school because next year is their first year teaching physics C… as well as physics I and II obviously so I might just go with AP chem and maybe AP bio too. I do know that I & II cover more topics than C so I’d probably have to study it a bit on my own. hahah maybe we could share study tips next year or something

@almondjoy7 awh thank you so much. I’m sure you’ll do just as amazing! It’s funny that you mention it because the juniors in my AP Calculus class are freaking out over the SAT. Many of them took it for the first time in January and were not happy with where there scores are. One guy even asked me for help hahahh. I’m trying to stay relatively calm about it but I feel kind of bad because I’m procrastinating the studying oops. I doubt you’ll need to worry too much, I’m sure you’ll do great on that, too!

@PurpleStarfall: Ughh, your dilemma sounds so much harder than mine! I would definitely take the debate class though, but I might be a bit partial because I’m a debater myself. How many classes do you have per day though?

I have my core schedule pretty much figured out, I’m just debating what to take to fill my two elective blocks. I’m fairly certain that I’m going to take AP Stat [along with AP Calc]. I’m thiiinking about maybe APES, or I could take AP Physics, but I don’t want it to be too much for me, especially since I’m taking AP Chem [which is notoriously difficult at my school].

@loltired: Taking 7 APs but no science seems a bit pointless, to be honest. =P And thank you for the vote of confidence, haha. <3 So many debate kids took it for the first time in January as well, and the results are kind of mixed. I love how some guy asked you, LOL. Obviously a show of how fantastically smart you are. ;)
