High school class of 2016

@gbrl10
I actually had to review over summer

@SwaggyC they didn’t even go over it in class?

@gbrl10
Nope not really

Next Year:
AP US History
AP World History
AP US Government and Politics
Economics 111 at local CC
AP Calc BC
AP English Lang
AP Spanish or UConn Spanish
AP Physics C: Test 1
AP Physics C: Test 2
AP Art History
Philosophy at local CC
AP Biology
AP Statistics

I probably forgot or messed up on a few, but yeah.
Taking it easy as a junior and then I’ll take really hard classes as a senior

^I forgot to add 3-4 UConn courses that I’ll be taking, mostly concerning the fields of puppetry, philosophy and african history.

@Apollo11 How do you have all that time/money to take all those AP classes/test? You probably don’t procrastinate at all.

I haven’t taken those courses yet, but my sophomore schedule is pretty similar.

The time comes from a distinct will to take the courses, and the fact that I’d already do those courses in my free time.

The money comes from my jobs and my school paying for some AP tests

The procrastination…well, I’m on CC, and some of my posts were at midnight…

I need to get a job.

@6alibah Lol. Don’t we all? I wish I had enough money to buy a Chromebook so that I can dual-boot Ubuntu on it, and play Minecraft.

Just contact everyone about having a job, and don’t take no/rules/precedent as an answer to your desires

@catchinginfinity I skim the questions and make a star by all the line numbers I see when I’m doing SAT critical reading passages. Then I read the passage and stop whenever I get to a star and re-read the question. Try to work as fast as you can without compromising your accuracy and try to understand what you’re reading! I received a 800 in CR when I took it in October and with practice, I’m sure you will, too!

^An 800!

I need to start studying…

So I have four chapters of AP Cal BC to complete by Spring Break, eight chapters of Campbell Biology to cover DURING Spring Break, and a ton of US History work to do.

whywhywhy

Damn, I got a 6 on my ACT (30 Composite score). Any tips to improve?

@TeamRocketGrunt lol which book are you using?
There aren’t even 4 chapters of BC in my book… we cover about 2.5 chapters for BC and 5.5 for AB

Using Barron’s @loltired

Do you guys think elite (sat prep) is worth it? If I took the SAT right now I’m pretty sure I’d get around 2100 (maybe more).

@loltired - But…but…I thought an 800 on CR was just a myth. Wow, I really have a lot of work to do. Congrats on your awesome scores though. (:
Thanks for the advice! I always start off reading the questions/marking the lines, but then I get sucked into the readings and always end up forgetting about the questions haha. Yeah, I do need to practice a lot more…I find that I generally try to avoid CR practice tests and end up doing math to compromise for the low self-esteem I always get when I’m doing reading. :P

@loltired

How’d you get the CR 800 again? I’d love to know so I can start getting read-y. Get it?

According to my PSAT, if I take the SAT right now, I’ll make a 2200. How accurate is the PSAT projection?
