So just checked the Senior’s thread. They look super busy writing all their essays. I’m dreading this time next year.

So just checked the Senior’s thread. They look super busy writing all their essays. I’m dreading this time next year.

I just thought I would come in here to ask if it’s possible to have junioritus? If so, I have a terrible case of it.

@deTURMANed22 Definitely. I have it too. Whoever discovers the cure is going to Harvard. And getting my infinite gratitude.

Same. I’m so exhausted, and it’s only October.

@deTURMANed22 @Woandering @glasshours Totally on the same page. I’ve been so overwhelmed with grades, and have barely done anything for the SAT. I’m tired of petty high school drama, and I’m totally ready to graduate.

2 more years. Woo.

Switching schools has landed me with a ton of makeup work that I only managed to finish on Friday. I had to take several tests that the other students had ample time to prep for that I (coming back to the school three weeks in) did not, so I ended up doing terribly on an AP Gov test and an AP Lang test. On top of that, one of the vocab quizzes I was supposed to make up after school was left unfinished because the teacher in charge of extended day had to leave at five. I had no choice but to leave it unfinished (I didn’t fill in like two questions), and my gov teacher refused to let me take five minutes to fill the questions in because “it wouldn’t be fair to the other students.” How exactly is giving me summer work that took the others two months to do (novel+stupid essay like assignment), four vocab quizzes, and two tests and expecting me to finish it all in four days “fair”? To top it all off, my AP Lang teacher decided to give me a week to do her summer work (novel+30 page study guide+2 page glossary+five page essay) in the same week that I had to do my AP Gov work in. At least my other two teachers are understanding and didn’t give me four days to do what would take even them at least two-three weeks to complete. Looks like I’m getting my first “B” in AP Gov (and also probably AP Lang).

I despise that my school is forcing me to take these two APs. God, I hate humanities.

/rant

@TeamRocketGrunt Ouch, that really sucks. I suppose you do have the rest of the year to make up for it, though. You seem smart enough.

Opposite for me, I’m doing awful in Calc AB…

@ErenYeager Really? I find AB Calc to be surprisingly easy.

It’s different for each person…news flash.

You guys are lucky. I signed up to take AB but the teacher is out for personal reasons, so I was switched into Honors Calculus. Now I have to self-study and have my sister tutor me so I can take the test.

…Hono Erecticulus? Sorry, my syneslexia is acting up. Anybody planning on applying to RSI? They ain’t releasing the app till November.

@purportedlay Sigh same for me here because Calculus Honors is a prerequisite before taking AP Calc AB so hopefully my counselor will allow me to self study AB this year and self study BC while taking the AB course next year.
Also, I plan on applying to RSI but I don’t plan on making it RSI haha oh well…

Anyone taking the SAT tomorrow?
II’m taking it on the November test date.

I am. Not ready :(

Good luck guys.

@puportedlay @alzhao I’m applying to both RSI and MITES

Are y’all ready for the PSAT on wednesday? And anybody taking the ACT on the 25th?

I’m not ready for the PSAT. .-. I feel so pressured, because my parents really want me to get NMS.

I’m taking the PSAT next Saturday. ACT in April. Retake in June.

For the PSAT I feel pretty confident. Been consistently doing practice tests from PR and Barron’s been ranging from high 180s to low 200s. Math is so easy. CR is where I have problems since I hate English (ironic since I love reading books). Writing section I’ve been reviewing rules that I’ve haven’t been taught since the 6th grade.

Anyone else live in NYS? We have these yearly tests called the Regents for every subject that requires one.
