Haha, no. Mac is horribly restricting. I had one two years ago and am never going back.
WINDOWS 10 IS SO GREAT
:((
teammac
I have a Mac but I love the Windows 10 Update lol
Windows for life. I still remember using XP lol
Ugh I can’t believe I got AP Econ first semester. I wanted senioritis soo bad :(( And senior portraits are in September GDI.
The only thing I benefited from Econ was discovering my love for The Phantom of the Opera during the last few days of class.
Random thought but did you guys still buy like hardcore school supplies? I think junior year I only used 2 notebooks and a folder all year. Let’s see if I can bring it down to one
@QueenN22 I carry 1 folder in my bag and a pencil/pen in my pocket…so not really
Junior year I got by with a single 1.5-inch binder and no notebooks or folders. My spanish teacher requires her own binder though, so I dunno what to do about that. That class isn’t worthy of its own binder.
does common app open like tonight at midnight or later tomorrow? lol i’m really anxious to just get something on the darn app filled out
@asappebble Same, but I’m heading over to Hershey tomorrow so I won’t be checking it out till Sunday :bz
I can’t believe you all carry so little.
Okay, so I had 8 classes junior year and my schedule would alternate between A and B days, which meant I carried the following:
A-Day:
*Dual Credit Pre-Cal-six folders with notes (one folder per unit that we HAD to carry)
*Floral Design (five-subject spiral and a folder)
*Computer Science (three-subject spiral)
*AP Physics (binder [which had to be black and 1.5 inches and solely for his class] and twist-erase pencils), and a 3-subject spiral
*Health Science Internship (1.5 inch binder which we had to have every day for notes/journals/vocabulary/graded paper)
B-Day:
*Dual Credit Pre-Cal-six folders with notes (one folder per unit that we HAD to carry)
*AP English-a folder specifically for her class with all assignments in order
*APUSH-1.5 inch binder, textbook (which I had to carry in my hand since 1200 page textbooks don’t fit in my backpack), and 3-subject spiral
*Health Science Internship (1.5 inch binder which we had to have every day for notes/journals/vocabulary/graded paper)
That and I always carried red pens, blue pens, black pens, twist-erase pencils, map pencils, and highlighters. Also, all of my required readings.
My backpack weighed about 40 pounds every day.
^I’m not a binder person because they take alot of room Usually my notebooks are 3 or 5 subject notebooks and plus I’m not really a notes-kind of person especially if I’m not able to write what I consider to be important. Also I don’t believe in teacher supply requirements. I believe I’m old enough to know what I’ll use and what I won’t use
School starts in a week and my motivation has hit an all-time low
For the 3rd straight year my counselor messed up my schedule and I’m on vacation during registration so it’s going to be harder to fix
When does everyone else on here get there senior schedules/ starts school. We get ours on Monday and start school on August 24th.
I stopped using notebooks…the only thing I bring to school now is one binder with, like, 5 sheets of looseleaf paper. I stopped taking notes too – all my teachers base their tests off the textbook.
CommonApp comes out in 7 hours, oh my goodness. Should really start cranking out essays…
I get my senior schedule on the first day of school, which is the 24th.
They give us our senior schedules mid-May so we can have time to change it before school ends. I can access them online too.
