High school class of 2016

AP Comp and AP Econ at my school don’t have summer homework :slight_smile: so I’m just enjoying the last month of my summer and slightly freaking out that the common app is right there over my head

IB (in general): Finish CAS journal and Extended Essay (4000 word essay)

IB Theory of Knowledge: Prepare presentation for Internal Assessment by early September

IB English HL: Read A Room of One’s Own (and be prepared for random reading quiz in the beginning of the year)

IB Math HL: Nothing really, but we are getting into Calculus 3 and Stat (so I’m gonna die this year)

IB Spanish HL: Read Cronica De Una Muerte Anunciada and answer essay question (like 3) per chapter (5 chapters)

IB Biology HL: Nothing :smiley:

IB History of the Americas HL: Finish Internal Assessment (1500 word essay)

AP Macro and Micro: Nothing :smiley:

** I’ve done like 0 of these things. Prayers, guys, prayers. ** [-O<

(But I did get most of my college essays done, that counts, right?)

@Princetonian2020 So what %age of your grade are all of these projects? Goodluck

Sure, I guess you didn’t do nothing these last couple of months lol

@TheSlacker16 I’m not entirely sure, but I think most of them were just recommended things to do. I only consider them summer work because my senior year needs to be more about my grades than anything else lol. The EE isn’t due until March, but we hardly have time in the school year to work on it. The rest of them are just things that should be done by September (three weeks or so after school has started). Gonna binge complete everything before school gets anymore closer :smiley:

MSTASHS- Most Senior Teachers Are Summer Homework Savages

its kinda true

I never have time to explore on this site anymore.

@Princeton2020 I have finished all my summer homework. I didn’t start my EE yet. R.I.P

@IBGuy101 Haha, I know the feeling. I’ve barely started my EE but the first draft (4000 words) is due in like 3 weeks. It’s a good thing the IB is good at teaching us how to BS :stuck_out_tongue:

This is true^ @QuirkyClarkie @IBGuy101

Hello bucky

has anyone here taking BC calc before?

first time posting in the official class of 2016 thread… it’s legit now

WELCOME TO THE COOL KIDS CLUB @shadyconcepts

@JaeHwanLoL I took BC Calc.

@Woandering do you remember what was hard from BC? im trying to get an early grasp on some stuff in my prep book. im up to u-substitution and differentiating/integrating ln and e functions

OMG! I just might pull my daughter back to homeschool for her senior year! We were assured that German 4 would not conflict with her music class. I have emails to prove this… now we are being told tough toenails… dd has to pick language or instrument she can’t have both. I’m just beside myself if D can not participate in regions and UIL in her senior year in will make if very hard for her to get accepted into the school of music for her minor. If she doesn’t take German AP 4 she can not finish a German minor in 4 years .

@3scoutsmom wrong thread lol

@JaeHwanLoL Those are both AB concepts, or at least at my school.

I’ve heard series is the hardest part of BC.

MODERATOR’S NOTE:

No it’s not.

Lol I thought this thread was for actual students tho, not parents of the class of 2016
