Random question but would it be weird to talk about the non aggression principle for this prompt: Reflect on an idea or experience that has been important to your intellectual development. I feel like it might be too political.
@LordBendtner I don’t think so as long as you’re not pointing fingers or constantly throwing shade. A lot of intellectual development stems from political views and it would be silly for the admissions officer to think that teenagers don’t care about politics. Also they probably have gotten some political responses so as long as you don’t start saying that “___ is the root of all our problems” then I think it will be fine
@LordBendtner That’s one of the Stanford prompts right? I read somewhere that as long as you don’t sound too dogmatic (ohoho SAT word), having a political topic for your essay is fine, but still a bit risky.
@LordBendtner I think that fits into the prompt. If non-aggression has led to an intellectual development in regards to to your political views, so be it.

Hey, guys, at home, what do you do for fun (like a hobby or videogames etc… I know some people mentioned TV a while back but I wanna get other people)? I am just the average guy who likes playing videogames in my freetime and it is starting to get boring…
I read manga during my free time 
but it’s more like I read manga while I should be doing work instead

@IBGuy101 I play with my dog or my siblings. Or I do one of those things on the Internet where you click on an article and then you click a suggested article and you keep doing that until you wonder when you started reading and what it was that you were first reading. I used to read but AP Lit makes the idea of reading repulsing.

But seriously tho, try to not worry about college, especially as a freshman. It’ll consume your life, and as the years pass, you’ll go insane trying to do everything “right”. That being said, if you really want a helpful book or something about getting into top schools, read this:

It’s super awesome, it basically preaches to high schoolers to not burn out through college and develop deep interests.
