I think black ink on white paper looks way better than blue ink. Also can’t stand pencils, my handwriting looks terrible in pencil.

I can’t even say I have any apps “down”. I have essays finished that can be used for multiple schools, but I don’t consider any apps completed because I still need to edit them. 10 apps to go! But only 7 due before Jan. 1st! Yay for writing supplements on christmas eve!

The stress lefties get from smudged handwriting is probably one of many reasons why we die earlier.
@icantdance @IBscholar I know right! I hate it when my christmas cards are smudged and I hate spiral notebooks with a passion! It’s a righties’ world… Although I am ambidextrous, so I’m supposed to live longer than both righties and lefties

Tfw you’ve only completed the Common App part and none of the essays–not even the Common App essay. Do I have to just write a generic essay for the Common App essay? I’ve been trying to get an answer to this for months to no avail.
I am currently contemplating on whether I should take the second semester of my senior year seriously :/. I don’t feel like busting my butt for A’s anymore, atleast for HS.

@pnguon thank you! I applied Yale SCEA and was deferred. I’m also an international applicant from Canada (not as cool as Cambodia! I’ve been reading your posts in the Harvard thread). I was slightly upset at first, but Yale was my third choice (thought I would’ve accepted the offer if I had been accepted early, just so I wouldn’t have to do more applications). Anyways. Best of luck with Harvard!
