@EquestrianDream We started school the second week of August and graduate in May… but our graduation date is mostly based on when IB exams finish, since there’s no point keeping us in school after that.
I also start school in August and graduate in May.

Note: Prom is a lot better if you have a date, not gonna lie (well, at least if you’re a dude).
Prom is like late-April or early-May for me and Graduation is June 10th.

I graduate May 31, but we started school in the last several days of August.
As for prom, I went last year, so I’m not sure if I’ll go this year
I’ve never seen anybody from my high school go to prom without a date. A lot of people go together as friends, though. We started in September and our last day of school is May 25, but technically graduation is June 5.
I didn’t go to prom last year but this year I’ve successfully convinced my boyfriend that we should go since it’s our last year of high school.
@LegendarySims No, just that we have to take the test at graduation while everyone else has fun lol.
At junior prom only 35 out of 190 students (only 5 guys) went. Me and my friends went to see mad max which was obviously the correct choice. My school no longer has Junior Prom because of that.
Somehow, 940 people went to our prom last year but there were only 760 seniors, lol. They were specifically instructed not to take dates from other schools, but I’m guessing they didn’t really enforce it.
At homecoming, we had about 1200 people attend the dance. Winter Formal is coming up for us at the end of January and I still need to find a date. 
Any ideas/ways to ask?
Wear a shirt that says “Single and Ready to Mingle!”
(Actually don’t. I think that’s against the Dress Code policy.)
I’m REALLY bad at coming up with promposals. For hoco I incorporated an inside joke into a hackneyed promposal so it was kinda cute but I dunno what Im gonna do for prom.
At hoco this year they limited it at 1000 and I left class early so I could get a ticket so I didn’t have to wait all of lunch for it.
Graduate June 9th, started August 26th… wish we graduated earlier haha
and Prom’s June 4th… planning to go as of now

Hey y’all! Joining the discussion. Our prom is going to be late May and will be at a garden of some sort. I’ve known every girl in my class since middle school and friend-zoned all of them, so I’ll be going alone. I just find it weird asking one of them because…idk it’s just weird. #UMich2020
All this talk about prom and graduation is making me realize that we only have 5-6 more months of high school left…
I feel so old.
(And upset that high school wasn’t like the movies. HSM deceived 8 year old me…)
