Same. I have a form of degenerative hearing loss, meaning eventually, it’ll all go. I’ve learned to accept it and even laugh at it.

@AMan236 Mine’s not progressive. But like you I’ve learned to accept it. Even wrote my college essay about it.
I also have a moderate hearing loss that I was born with. It is hard to hear and understand people who talk softly and quietly. Like @AMan236 said, I try to laugh along with it. I come from Africa.

@readingclaygirl I have slight hearing loss too, I’m not sure if I was born with it, I can’t hear people well if there’s background noise.

I have progressive vision loss and the doctors don’t know what’s wrong. They just know I’m getting progressively more visually impaired and they said something about some part of my eye becoming deformed. Eh. I don’t pay attention well enough. Lol. I just laugh about it because that’s all you can do. You either poke fun at it or you are miserable about it. I choose the former.
So honestly what I’m hearing is to be smart and successful, you’ve got to give up one of your senses
But since we are putting things out there, I have a heart murmur
