So, I’ve kind of taken on the job of doing college counseling now that our college counselor is gone. It’s mostly helping kids figure out where to put what information and how to sign up for the SAT/ACT or apply for college, especially using Common App. It’s more exhausting than I thought it would be.

When are you guys sending midyear reports? I’m sending mine this Friday.

They’re planning to hire someone, but for now I’m doing them the favor of helping out a bit since I was the one that spent the most time in there and am an aide in there. My college counselor told them he trusts me to handle stuff.

i’m sending my mid year the week after next. I have some more classes I’m trying to finish to add onto my transcript.
I’m sending mine off as soon as my counselor decides I’m relevant enough to call me down. I put in a request to see her forever ago.
the schools I applied to don’t require me to send mid-year grades, besides FSU. however they use the SRAR so its really easy, i just had to update the online grades on the website! Also all these scholarships are due in March that I’m doing and I’m trying not to stress out :((
On the bright side, I did really well with my first semester grades 
Also nervously waiting to hear from UF, how’s the college process going for everyone else here??

@XoXdreamerXoX You have to get called down to see the counselor!? I just walk in whenever I need something (about 3-4 times a week). She’s probably getting annoyed of me at this point because I keep telling her I want to drop my art class. She still cool with me tho.
@garcdanny26 College process went great! Accepted to all the colleges I applied to. I only applied to the four schools I indicated on the ACT (the four your write to send your scores to). I didn’t apply to any other schools because I didn’t want to pay $12 to send my ACT score to them. I’m trying to save up to buy a pair of Timberlands and a nice Northface jacket.

@ErenYeager I want a pair of the brown ones and the black ones, but that’s going to cost me about $400. I also want a North Face jacket, so that will bring the total to around $600. I’m contemplating if I should work in the summer until I make $600, then just quit. I might even stay until I make $800 and buy myself a pair of gray Timberlands while I’m at it.
