Yes! I feel the same lol. @Tookme10mins
@Chrysanthemum14 Congrats!
I just did my Cornell informal information session. It was supposed to be a group thing, but I was the only one that showed up…
I prefer tall roller coasters to the the twisty ones because I get realllly sick
@ErenYeager Just like me. I hated the merry go round in elementary school and the hate for rides that makes one dizzy still pertains to me. I like tall roller coasters, but every time it gets to the second before it goes down, I always tell myself “I shoulda never done this.” Then, I go ride it again once its done.
I’m not a roller coaster person, lol. I’m terrified of heights, but I’ll usually do them if they’re inside and dark (like Space Mountain) because I can’t see how high up I am! I’ll also do kiddie coasters (like Flight of the Hippogriff at Universal) or most of the “bigger” ones at Disney (like California Screamin’ or Expedition Everest) because I’m usually able to talk myself through those.
@gonewiththeair aww I love Space Mountain.At my school we go to Disney World every other year and we went there for a week(during mid-winter recess) during sophomore year it was so fun and nostalgic,since Disney is a big part of my childhood. I was seriously so sad to leave,but anyways yeah I love Space Mountain I feel like it’s the perfect ride for me because it’s not too scary,but it’s fun and you still get an adrenaline rush.I also really enjoyed Big Thunder Mountain,especially at night time where you can see the stars.We literally went on that line like 5 times it was so fun
@Tookme10mins I love Big Thunder Mountain too! It’s definitely not too high so not too scary for me lol.
That sounds like so much fun, going to Disney World with your school! I live in Southern California and a lot of the schools around here do school dances in Downton Disney or grad night at Disneyland but my school got blacklisted a few years ago so we can’t anymore lol
Im a coaster fanatic. I go on everything and my favorite is El Toro at Six flags great adventure.
I have off from school tomorrow for literally no reason
@anon9362 Staff development, maybe?
…my first CSS profiles are due tomorrow. I’m just going to submit the first two and wait until the due dates for the rest. I don’t have $121 on me right now.
No not staff development. I actually do know the reason, I’m in NY and the kids who failed regents last year are retaking them tomorrow. But that’s literally only like 30 kids so the rest of us have a free day
Some genius engineer (or whoever decides where to place a theme park) thought it would be a bright idea to make a Six Flags near an airport. As a result, no roller-coaster can be bigger than 200ft.
@gonewiththeair aww that sucks
@anon9362 hey I live in NYC too. We’ve had no school since this Tuesday all because of Regents and I didn’t have to take any,which was awesome. This week would have been even more awesome if my English teacher didn’t give us a crap load of work.
I had midterms so I had off this whole week, and I have no work it’s been great! But on Tuesday I go back and get homework again
Well, I couldn’t work today because my working papers aren’t signed. I couldn’t get them signed over the weekend, since my doctor & school aren’t open. My mom is getting them signed tomorrow, but it’s still $40 lost.
@anon9362 I’m in NY too and it’s weird they are doing that tomorrow because the whole state takes regents at the same time and that was last week.
So frustrated with my first sem grades… seems like it’ll be half Bs at least it’ll raise my weighted GPA because APs but still sigh
