Well I just took my writing SAT practice test and now I have both my reading and writing practice test scores.
My Reading Score: 31/52
My Reading Score (Out of 40): 28/40
My Writing Score: 28/44
My Writing Score (Out of 40): 28/40
Combined Score (Out of 80): 56/80
Combined Score (Out of 800): 560/800 <:-P
I feel both good and bad about my score. I only improved from my reading score on the PSAT, which was a 510, by 50 points. I feel like I shouldn’t be too hard on myself though. I mean, I may have only improved 50 points, but I did it in three weeks. I also had a lot of trouble sticking to my schedule. I feel like I’m doing way too much at once. I didn’t really practice as much as I should’ve.
Do you guys think I might be able to get a 650, on both math and reading/writing tests, by the end of the summer? I feel like I could improve another 90 points between now and then.
I think you should focus on the ACT. IMO the ACT is so much easier and it’s really straight forward. Also CrackACT makes it so easy to study for
Has anyone taken AP Psyhoclogy yet? If so, how was the experience?
@wildguy57 yes! I took AP Psych freshman year and earned a 5! It was pretty easy, just requires a lot of memorization.

I just got my grade for Health and PE 2 for the the first two weeks, technically would’ve been the first quarter if I took it during the year, and it’s an A (99%).
Has anyone played the new Pokemon Go game? It’s this game that allows you to play and catch Pokemon on the go, using Google Maps.
@ak2018 Pokemon is my obsession (I’m literally wearing a Vulpix shirt right now) but I don’t really know how to feel about Pokemon Go. I don’t think its going to be like the mainstream Pokemon games, and I don’t have a lot of data on my phone, so I may not be able to even download it. What do you think about it?
ap scores come out for my area tomorrow but I cheated and used TOR to get around that, and unfortunately I did much worse than I thought.
I earned a 3 on my Psych exam and a 2 on the World exam. Those world essays must have screwed me up 
@Phantomlink The WHAP essays killed me I don’t get my scores until tomorrow but I just know I did horribly.
Whoa, wish I joined this thread earlier. I just made an account! I’ve been reading College Confidential forums since the beginning of the time, but I never bothered to actually create an account until now. Anyways… I’m feeling pretty nervous about junior year. I have about one month until school starts. And I just started trying to study for the SAT. Hopefully I’ll meet some new people on this website!
@LeopardFire @ak2018 I’m a fan of Pokemon, too! I’m not an avid gamer, though… I just like playing Pokemon from time to time. I’m not very fond of Pokemon Go. I tried it out and it seemed fun at first, but it got boring after a while. Plus, I have limited data so I can’t go outside and play the game as much as I’d like to!

But yeah. Most people are saying that the game isn’t that good and that it’s similar to Ingress. I kind of agree.
I am a rising Junior I got 4 aps under my belt, I’m taking 6 next year (US History,Lang, Calc AB, Physics 1, Chemistry, Euro). My plan is to finish with a total of 18-19 AP’s (wanna go to harvard), is this unrealistic?
