@snowfairy137 Don’t worry, you should get your score in time. Fun fact: Last year, only 12 people scored a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. One of them was right here in Virginia. Maybe you’ll be lucky this year. Who knows? Maybe they’re delaying it because there was a mistake. A good mistake. Good Job with AP Studio Art and especially AP Computer Science A. Not that many people got a 5.

@Ak2018 that’s flat out wrong bc almost 50% of test takers got a 5 on Calc BC. Maybe you’ve thinking of a perfect score, as in you didn’t get any questions wrong.

Omg I took the AP world history test and I’m super nervous, my scores come out tomorrow
So, I was hired to work as a cashier at a supermarket at the beginning of June and everything is fine and dandy. Its not a hard job and I told the manager that I plan to work weekends when school starts. But I am also a VERY dedicated student who needs lots of study time and I am NOT willing to sacrifice my grades for $7.25 an hour. Most people who work at the grocery store have worked there for almost a year. I plan on going to the manager in two weeks and tell him I would like to quit working and work for another two weeks if he needs me to. The store only hires 17+ and I am 16. They made an exception to hire me because one of my friends who had worked there for two years recommended me. Now, I am going to quit after only a month and a half! What would they think?
*I would quit no matter what they think, but can you guys make me feel a bit better about doing this?

For all of you that self studied how did you do it, did you take an online course, read a textbook, what?
I’m looking to self study APUSH
I got a 5 on WHAP. I’m pretty happy since I spent lots of time studying and it was my only AP this year.
I couldn’t help myself, so I checked my AP score… Got a 4 in AP Gov. Considering that the only studying I did was binging Crash Course the night before, that’s pretty good. I do wish that I pushed myself to get a 5, though.
Also, I recommend downloading the Puffin browser app to easily access AP scores. That’s what I did, it feels safer than a proxy. ^^’
@LeopardFire Good job! I got a 4 on AP Macro. I’m happy with it, but I’m questioning if I hadn’t made such a stupid mistake on the last FRQ I would’ve gotten a 5, so I know how you feel. BTW, I used Avast SecureLine and set it to San Francisco. It’s a 7-day free trial. I guess I’ll be using Puffin for next year.

@xxluvforeverxx Well, while I’d highly recommend not quitting, it’s understandable. School should definitely come first. You should, hopefully, be able to find another job when you want one. If you already had one person recommend you, you’re definitely showing something in your work ethic that’s appealing. I myself have also been told I have a very good work ethic. My dad, however, doesn’t want me to work, which I’m fine with. If you’re going to quit, I’d tell your boss the reason why. I don’t know about you, but I definitely think it’s best not to get into a habit of quitting your job and making an overdramatic exit. :))
@xxluvforeverxx remember that when you want to apply for another job, you usually need to put your previous employers on your resume, so make sure you don’t make your boss mad, just explain that it isn’t going to work out for you for x reason.

@neptuna At this point, there really is nothing you can change about your score, unless you want to retake it next year or get it rescored, to see if they made any mistakes. But a 4 is definitely good!
Well, my Health and PE 2 class just got out for the day. On Friday, we have a test and we are playing Capture-The-Flag.
Also, our teacher told us to download this one really cool game from the Google/iTunes app stores called Yield. I’ve played it and it looks pretty cool.
I caved in and checked my AP scores using a proxy and… I GOT A 5 IN US HISTORY!! I am so excited and I still can’t believe it!!!
