I mean I applied about a month ago, and they knew that it would be 1500, but we were expecting some financial aid (not much, maybe like 400-500), but since there were so many people applying this year, I didn’t get any. My dad went and talked to a math professor he knows, and the professor said it’s worth it, so maybe he will change his mind.
Well, I did some last minute school supplies shopping and didn’t really buy much. I don’t know how to feel about going back to school in less than 24 hours!
I already know my Junior year is going to be boring academically. People say my Chemistry teacher can’t teach concepts very well even though she’s a very nice person. My Stats teacher doesn’t even have a degree in Math (or Science) and managed a bowling alley before he became a teacher in his 30’s. He even said there was a reason they wouldn’t let him teach real math. 
He tells crappy jokes and even FORCED me to smile because my apathy was “affecting” class participation. We do nothing in my US history class and I don’t even like the subject because it’s really AP White Imperialism/Supremacy (I still remember how my 8th grade textbook called slaves “workers” and that my teacher, who I respected, tried to tell me that the Civil War was fought not because of slavery but to maintain Southern “values”). English is actually my only cool class even though we had to memorize the meaning of over 200 words(in 4 days) and were assigned a 2-page essay due at the end of the week. My science mentorship is starting out a little slow, but I heard it gets way better. I’m keeping my hopes up. I can only look forward to Senior year at this point. To make myself feel better, I’m going to post my dream Senior schedule. It probably won’t work out because of scheduling conflicts though! >:P

My first week of school hasn’t been horrible. I have a pretty good schedule except my B days are gonna be hard once tests start coming up since all my APs are on that day.

Thankfully, I can get most of my homework done for Calc in study hall on B days since it’s my everyday class. I unfortunately got the bad teacher for AP Lang, but I had her last year and she likes me. My AP Physics teacher literally can’t teach, so it’ll be fun figuring out the strange world of physics by myself. Tutoring is really cool because I don’t have to take a boring gym class and I get to tutor for two of my favorite teachers. However, it sucks this year because I have to take a quarterly exam worth 10% of the quarter grade for all my classes, even AP when AP classes were exempted before. The only one I don’t have to take is fourth quarter for APs.
LET THE S.N.H.C BEGIN! I have 5 more pages of AP Chemistry work that technically isn’t due until Tuesday.

@Tobster18 How many chapters in unit 1? Also, what textbook are you using?
@kassh4 Just one chapter, im using american history 14th edition alan brinkley (either the test is a Chapter 1 test or Unit 1)
for people taking the SAT if you have taken the practice tests have you noticed any score fluctuations any test being much easier or harder then the others just curious?
@Tobster18 you worried me! I thought class was really behind!!! We are using America’s History by Henretta 8th ed. I have a chapter 3 quiz tomorrow and a unit 1 test (ch1-4) next Tuesday. I feel like my teacher is going so fast!!!
