Same @kassh4
what state are you from?
I go back next week Monday.
@aspiringgirl Illinois
I’m almost done with my AP Lang summer assignment, but for some reason I can’t make myself type up two short paragraphs
on the bright side, I’ve finished my AP Gov summer assignment! Super proud of myself
Working out is so hard I-) someone please tell me how to do it (and how to motivate yourself…)
Just uploaded my SAMS 2017 video!: https://youtu.be/gQ6Ieu4ST14
two weeks until school! vacation has been amazing so far. I don’t want to go back home!
@gigichuck are applying to the class of 2022? cause if you are, you should join the official applicants Facebook group! there’s one every year and this year’s one just started! it’s called “NYUAD - class of 2022 applicants” (its the one with the purple icon!) its really helpful every year, for getting tips and advice and discussing with other applicants
@Melzarts Okay. Will do. Thanks
My schedule for the first semester of this year:
1Chemistry 1
2Digital Media 1 Honors
3Psychology honors
4Us History Through film Honors
5Essentials for college math
What do you guys think?
@Futureanimator Personally, it looks like a weak schedule to me, but context is way more important, and I have none of that. It just depends on your goals, and what your school offers.
Hey Everyone,
For those who took AP Calc BC, what unit did you guys start with? I’m just about to finish Intro to Derivatives and move on to Derivative rules via Khan Academy. I’m expecting to get to Advanced Derivatives.
I’m currently trying to finish the Poisonwood Bible by the time school starts and it’s working out pretty well. I’m listening to it on an audiobook while annotating which is honestly so much better.
I’m honestly still having SAMS withdrawal, but at least I get my schedule in ten days!
You’re on the right track with calc! My teacher did a review on limits, then we did derivatives, and then application with derivatives. Good luck!
@agentaquastar I’ve been working out for years! I think the best think to slowly ease yourself into working out is using YouTube videos. Blogilates and FitnessBlender are the best channels. You’re only going to be motivated to work out if you really really want it. It applies to anything in life, but working out regularly requires discipline and consistency. You’ll find that once you work out for a bit you just can’t get enough(you’ll love the way your body looks and feels and how much happier you are).
@Futureanimator I think your schedule is fine! Is Essentials for College Math like pre-calc? Also, I think you need an English class. Many schools require four years.
Is anyone going to the WashU fly in?
@kassh4 Lol. The NAACP put out a travel warning for Missouri, so I didn’t even bother.
@ak2018 the first thing we did was review limits.
@Hamlon My English is in my second semester
Finally done with all my AP summer work!!! Nothing like finishing the day before school starts lol.
