I’m in the same boat. I get mine on Aug 23 which is 7 days before school starts on which upsets me also. I just want it so I can know when each my classes are and plan according to that. I’m not really into online shopping since I like to physically see what I’m buying so that’s way too late to wait for. Everyone in my city and surrounding towns/villages come to the stores here and go to our schools so everything is usually not in stock in that last week before school starts.

I absolutely HATE biology and I requested physics, so I have to get out of this! Also I am not prepared to take 4 APs this year… I feel like my school shouldn’t force me into APs that I don’t want, that’s so unfair. I’ve made a meeting with my GC (as well as emailed her a few times…) so I hope I can get this thing fixed!!

@Shanban1607, that’s doesn’t sound good. I agree with @Chunkypepe, they can’t just force you into so many AP’s. Hopefully it’s fixed. Did your schedule leak through Powerschool? That happens sometimes 
I was hoping my schedule would leak, it did last year and PowerSchool started letting us login today so I’m hoping they’ll leak it!
Yeah we use something similar to PowerSchool, that’s how I saw it. Really hope everything turns out alright! :-SS
@adiacs, yup, I’m hoping for that too! After the last time it leaked, I’ve been checking the Powerschool portal to see if it hopefully leaked, but not so far I can’t wait to get my schedule, even though I get it on the 5th (school starts pretty early for us compared to the schools of other people I know in California). The wait is agony… I have to change my schedule too because they gave me AP Physics instead of the engineering class I wanted, so I have to switch out of that, and they’re super strict about not changing schedules until you get your schedules before school starts, so…
And there’s my rant haha :))
My school uses Home Access Center and I was able to glimpse at only half my schedule. I am not happy with it at all ugh. They just need to schedule my electives and it’s taking forever.

Anyone else find the first few days of school to be enjoyable…And then quickly find yourself wishing it were summer again!
@TheBlizzard So true, by Friday I just wanted to go home and nap forever.
That also reminds me of the first day of high school when I walked into my Geometry class.
The teacher announced that we would have a pop quiz at that moment once he had gone over grading and classroom policies. And that it were to be counted. And that if you failed it you were already at a bad start in his class grade wise.
I’d never wanted to be at home in my bed more than at that moment.
My school used to use PowerSchool. I miss it.

Guys, my counselor emailed me today and told me that physics is being restricted to juniors and seniors this year. I asked her if I could take AP Chem then, since I’ll surely fail AP bio. Also she’s going to see about switching me out of music theory, but all other elective classes might be full at this point. That’s what I get for having a counselor who returns to work 2 weeks before school.
Really hope everything works out. I hope AP chem doesn’t kill me (if I can even get into the class, otherwise I’m stuck with bio).
