High School Class of 2019

btw I’m sorry for all of you who’ve had to go through my many profile pic changes

I have to take the ACT Plan tomorrow! They just told us Friday that it was tomorrow, so it was a surprise.

Honors English 2
AP Biology

How I feel about them:
Cool
Hella
Boooo
Hella
Hella
Get me out of this class before my brain shrivels up and dies
Hella

My schedule is:
1st Term

  • AP World
  • Honors English
  • AP Environmental Science
  • Honors Chemistry
  • AP Calculus AB

2nd Term:

  • AP World Pt. 2
  • Honors English Pt. 2
  • AP Calculus BC
  • Animation
  • Spanish 2

1st semester:

  • Marketing Management II
  • Chinese II
  • Integrated Math II honors
  • US History honors

2nd:

  • Integrated Math III honors
  • Biology and Chemistry honors
  • Drivers’ education (mandatory course)
  • English 10 honors

My school must really suck or something, because you can’t take any more than 1 or 2 AP courses in sophomore year unless you “doubled up” on something in freshman year, yet I see everybody else here having a handful of AP courses…

Algebra 2 Honors
English 10 Honors
Biology Honors
APUSH
French 2 Ac
Business I Ac
Gym

All classes are for a semester, except APUSH, which is divided into two separate semester classes

except me with no APs, lmao @noplayallwork
to tell you the truth though I really hate teaching to the test anyway

now I’m just getting taught to the department exam tho :frowning:

@Mathophile26 Yay, animation! What’s it been like? :DDD

Chemistry Honors
English 2 Honors
Algebra Honors (in that order btw, first 3 classes are honors…)
World History (had to drop the AP due to scheduling issues! kinda sucks but kinda relieved lol)
French 3 (no honors :frowning: )
Also Cross Country in the Fall and Track in the Spring (preseason in Winter)

I’m really just trying to do good in Chem, which is by far my hardest class. I have an 88% after the first test, so trying to hold on for dear life.
I’ve also learned more in my first month of English than I have in my past 2 years, so there’s that. Also have an A after the first major writing, hype.
I have a bad grade in Algebra 2 because of my first assessment, but by the semester it should be a lot stronger.
World History is incredibly boring or fun depending on the day.
French is super chill, like always. Only one teacher teaches all the French classes, and she’s super lenient about everything.

There’s this girl in my English class who’s in Honors Precalculus, Honors English 2, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP World History, and AP Music Theory

She also does debate

I have…
Gym (required all 4 years ew)
Baking
French 4 Honors
English 2 Honors
Chemistry Honors
Algebra 2
Latin 2 Honors
AP USH 1 (my school splits it into 2 years)

Thanks @adiacs and @Shanban1607
@adiacs how can u take 8 classes? Is one of them dual enrollment?

@anan16 no they’re highschool classes. I have 4 classes a day and then the other 4 classes the next day with 80 minute periods. It’s called a block scheduling and it’s actually pretty nice!

@awesomepolyglot I have a friend who’s in AP Bio, AP Calc AB, AP Euro, and AP World (along with English honors, orchestra, and a crafts class)… I have no idea how her brain is managing memorizing all of that stuff

O i see.
If anyone cares about my schedule
English 2 Honors
European History AP
Humanities (world history AP for “gifted and talented”)
Band
Alg 2 honors
Spanish 3 Honors
Chemistry Honors

Next year I’m planning an all-AP schedule to make up for this year but we’ll cry about that later LOL

I see what you’re getting at, @anan16, but I don’t think you necessarily need to make up for lack of APs. Honestly, I’m probably only going to take one (calc BC) next year…

@OMPursuit Are you going to take the AP Physics C: Mechanics exam?

Hey people!

Tomorrow is National Coming Out Day! I’m gonna come out to my aunt and uncle and (maybe? probably not?) my dad.

Good luck if anybody else is coming out tomorrow! If anybody wants moral support, PM me!

Good luck! @awesomepolyglot

@OMPursuit It isn’t always like that with AP classes from what I’ve heard, plus at least they offer some sort of challenge. Currently, my lowest grade is a 97 (or 96??), and the workload is just ridiculously light in all classes. It sometimes gets real boring in class…
