do high school courses + activities majorly impact your acceptance to a certain school of focus? for instance, if a student in high school majorly concentrates in humanities [and does programs that relate to humanities], but plans to pursue in pre-med, will there be an impact in acceptance?
i strongly believe that high school is a time for students to learn and explore new things, jumping from interest to interest.
It is best if your high school course selection covers the well rounded base curriculum so that you will be ready for college in any major. You can add electives of your interest in the extra schedule space that you are likely to have.

Pre-med can be done in any major (including humanities majors), but it is best if you have biology, chemistry, and physics in high school so that you will be more ready for the college versions that you will take for pre-med purposes.
