High School Freshman Year?

Do they take high School freshman year into account?
i can’t find the answer to this on their whole site
someone had said that they don’t, but is anyone for sure?
Thank you

I think they do look at every year, because the website states that the admissions office looks at every class and grade to get the full picture. However, Im sure that they also like to see improvement, so if u messed up freshmen year, u can always strive for getting better grades soph, jun. and senior years.

im pretty sure if you do mediocre freshman year they wont care… 10th and 11th are the ones that are most important.

actuaally none of us know as we are just high school students ( seniors) or college freshmen and we dont know abt the admission process.

how does it matter anyway ? what has happeend has happened do well now and hope for the best.

sigh… so many regrets from that year
does anyone happen to know for sure…

i got 3.6 W that year while getting 4.3 both soph, junior year
how bad is this

dont worry as much about your freshman year. most schools, including Hopkins, care more about your progression than your first year grades. also, Hopkins will look more at your core classes over your 4 yrs. if you have done below your standards freshman year but are doin well since then, there is no need to worry.
