I’m not sure if this is the right forum to ask but where does the GPA for the college acceptance rates come from?

In here: [University of California - Admissions](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/selecting/camp_profiles/camp_profiles_ucsd.html)
^ It says

Averages

High School GPA: 4.08

Where does the high school GPA come from? Is it the GPA from Junior year 2nd semester or is it the cumulative GPA (Grades 9-12)? I just got my report card yesterday and it says under my Current semester(1st) GPA there’s a “Cumulative (Grades 9-12) GPA: ###”
