I got my HSED and I got 3070 out of 4000. Which it says puts me in the top 10% of traditional high school graudates. Which is an okay score I suppose. On the website of the college I want to apply to it says “If you have earned your General Educational Development (GED) certificate or a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), you will need to submit your official score report in addition to the high school transcript.” My issue is that my freshman grades SUCK and after freshman year I left to be home schooled.

Are my horrible freshman grades going to kill my chances even if I make improvement?

The school I am applying to is University of Wisconsin. I am going to a local community college this fall and want to apply to University of Wisconsin next fall.
