I worked at Verizon during the summer between my junior and senior year of high school and now i am currently about to enter my junior year of college. Also, I had job shadowed at Verizon a few months prior to the internship. I am about to enter my junior year of college and would like to know whether I should include these on my resume.
You should definitely put it on your resume especially if its relevant to your field. The whole stigma of “don’t put any HS related stuff on your resume” is more focused around extra-curriculars or academic characteristics whille you were in HS. Any work experience or field-relevant characteristics should always be kept on your resume especially when they are so recent. Now if it was a sales internship and you’re going for engineering, you may want to keep it off your resume unless you just need to fill-up space (extremely unlikely).
How did you even get an internship like that in High school? I really want to know.
