High school math courses for an econ major?

I want to major in Econ/Business Econ at a UC (preferably UCSD, UCLA), and I know that a strong foundation in math is essential in those majors. I am currently taking Precalc, and I originally planned on taking Calc AB next year as a senior, as well as a stats course at a community college over the summer. Should I be taking BC instead of AB next year to prep myself better?
I plan on going to law school instead of graduate school, as I want to go into corporate law. I’m not sure if this makes a difference.
