Do high school resumes have a standard format for a college or job submission? My son came home with a two page resume that has a wide, colored horizontal top stripe that turns and goes down the left side of the pages with additional info…is this a new format for students; my son wants to study business.

I’ve posted this one before: https://webcms.utexas.edu/sp/groups/public/@evppadms/documents/general_information/prod_001575.pdf

Ds had one format but switched to this one after UT pointed it out. We found it really easy to expound on an item when needed.

Thanks for the link, I had this UT format from 2 years ago. For this child I went to a professional that showed my ds various resume templates, and he selected a colorful one. My concern is that is will come across as gimmicky, especially for a student of business.
