We are doing a hybrid schedual block/ 8 hours

I agree with both poster. It is an awkward schedule because you are taking two math classes with one generally being viewed as a pre-req to the other and the two psych classes is repetitive. I would swap out one of the psych classes (the one that is not an AP) and take another AP class instead. Also like the other poster said FSU is not very competitive. Do well (I would say at least a 3.5 to be safe) and you will be fine.

I would take algebra II the first semester as a block then pre-calc 2nd sem. So i can graduate with 4 maths at least. Does that make sence?
And my friend said to take AP psych. you have to take general Psych. First. but at my old school there was no psych you just took AP psych.
I want to take both psychs because im going to be doing stuff like that in college.

But how do you only have 4 math classes including those two…?

The psych thing makes sense if you need plain psych for AP (well, not really, that’s a dumb requirement), but it doesn’t make you look any better.

No, that makes sense. I’m pretty sure he took a year off of math or he didn’t start Algebra 1 until 10th grade. Which he’s making up for by doubling up on math this year - that’s fine.

You are taking two AP classes, which is a great step in the right direction. I don’t know anything about Florida schools, but if you have good grades and good test scores to back you up, then your schedule should be competitive at quite a few schools - not necessarily top-tier schools, but still a lot of schools.
