I was accepted into the University of Pittsburgh with an intended major in neuroscience and I had a few questions about the difficulty of Pitt pre med requisite courses. I am well aware of the many resources that UPMC offers for shadowing, research, and volunteering but am concerned about the “weed out” courses like Bio 1, Orgo Chem. My main question is how difficult it is to keep a 3.7+ GPA at Pitt because that is first thing that med schools look for in an application.
