<p>Hello I’ve started to look into college and after a lot of thought Florida is high on my list. Currently I’m a high school sophomore (Graduating Class of 2013) and I was wondering if I was on track. Currently I’ve taken 1 AP class (All offered until your junior year where I live and I plan on take AP English III and IV, AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Cal, and AP Spanish and maybe a few more before I graduate) Also I’ve taken the ACT twice and I skipped my Freshman year. I scored a 21 composite score in 8th grade. I haven’t taken the SAT yet but have taken the PSAT and I’m still waiting to get my scores back which I will get tomorrow and post to here. I do community service with my church ranging from mission trips, help at soup kitchens and food pantries, and helping the old. I am a GYLC (Global Youth Leader’s Conference) and Jr. NYLC Alumni (Junior National Leader’s Conference) and a member of the CYLC (Congressional Youth Leadership Conference) Also I am in the NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars) and I did the cotillion program and also helped our towns chapter of it as a part-time job. In academic awards I won the National Bridge Building Competition in April of 2008 with my team, I’ve recieved the presidental academic excellence award, and various awards from my school.</p>
<p>My biggest fear is that coming from out of state I won’t have that good of a chance. I also understand that I need to take the SAT next year and take the ACT again to raise my score.</p>
