High school transcripts from college or high school?

If one were to transfer, would the official high school transcripts be sent from one’s original high school or from one’s currently attending university?

Also, do you have to report the scores that you have received from your AP/IB classes? Or can those scores just not be reported?

You have to send both transcripts. Turns out a few of my schools were also waiting on the transcript from a summer program I did, too, so if you have any of those, find out if they want those too. Some schools request all standardized test scores, some don’t. Make sure you know all the requirements for each school you’re thinking of applying to, because they’ll vary. And it’s VERY expensive to send each transcript/score report to each separate college, so make sure you know where you can save a few extra bucks.

HS transcripts come directly from the HS, they are not included on the college transcript.

You self-report AP scores for application purposes, you have the choice of not reporting some/all scores. However, the school may wonder why you didn’t take the test(s); they often use AP test scores to compare to your grade for that class as it can give them some indication of HS grade inflation/deflation. You only send official score reports for APs to the school where you matriculate.
